Kalo Dam In Mayurbhanj Odisha is a supply project over Suno waterway close to Chhanua town in Kaptipada block, can possibly inundate 4,904 ha covering 60 towns in kharif and 2,400 ha in rabi seasons. It is an earthen dam with a stature of 20.22 meters and 2,450 meters length. Around 10 pani panchayats have been framed in its order zone for smooth administration of the dam.

 

The task was set up in 1973. Previous boss priest Biju Patnaik had established the framework stone for the dam at Chhanua. A few group of Jamdiha, Badakhaldi, Chaturighat, Debla and Kolialam panchayats were uprooted and the venture was finished in 1985. Aside from the fundamental trench, it has 26 branch waterways.

 

A proposition worth ‘one crore has been shipped off the State Government for endorsement to do redesign works, said Executive Engineer of Kaptipada water system sub-division Gouranga Sahu.

Kolkata Airport In West Bengal, There most of the Flight have a stoppage. From there you can get so many buses from Kolkata to Baripada & Balasore. Then after you reach Baripada or Balasore, you can book a four-wheeler from any place for Kalo Dam.
