The sanctuary of Baripada Jagannath Temple In Mayurbhanj Odisha is generally known as Haribaldev sanctuary. It was worked by Shri Baidyanath Bhanj in 1575 A.D. on similar design standards of Kakharua Baidyanath sanctuary. The sanctuary remains as an image of the strict kindness of the Bhanja Rulers of Mayurbhanj and is viewed as the Queen Monad among the august states during the pre-consolidation days. It is made of laterite stone with choice plans engraved in the dividers.

It has a tallness of 84′-6″. A major limit divider encircles the sanctuary which is an imitation of that of Lord Jagannath at Puri. An engraving on the sanctuary divider expresses that in the year 1497 of the Saka Era this sanctuary was worked by Baidyanath Bhanj. This sanctuary, similar to the Kakharua Baidyanath of Manatri is furnished with Vimana, Jagamohan, and Nata Mandira and is in a preferable safeguarded condition over the latter. Besides the managing gods, there are upwards of seventeen Bedha divinities sanctified in the sanctuary. The Jagannath sanctuary compound is furnished with little cells in which the pictures of various religions discover the place.
